We’d like to invite you to contribute to this event in which we will discuss spatial (in) justice in light of COVID-19, with the help of Professor Susan Fainstein (GSD), on May 26 at 18:00. The idea is to have short statements from participants to be discussed during the session, highlighting lessons learned (and sadly not-learned) about planning the just, sustainable and resilient city for future pandemics. More instructions are in the full call (link below). Professor Fainstein will deliver a 20-minute keynote and will help us discuss the statements.

This is organised by the Spatial Justice Network, which is run by Professor Russell Smith from the Winston-Salem State University in the US and me. This is a network of more than 80 scholars around the world who do research and teach spatial justice, and everyone is welcome to join
