Students from the Spatial Planning programme of the University of the West of England in Bristol visited TU Delft in March 2012. The visit is part of the filed trip first-years make to the Netherlands in the course coordinated by Marcus Grant. This is the third time UWE students visit TU Delft.

Students and teachers were welcomed by Vincent Nadin, Professor of Spatial Planning and Strategy. They watched presentations by Frank van der Hoeve on the Randstad and the main challenges for planners in the area, and by Machiel van Dorst, chief of the Department of Urbanism, who talked about concepts and experiences connected to the Healthy City.
