On April 9, 2009, Inoek Brouwer and the Dutch train company NS promoted a workshop on the spatial relationship/ connection between train stations and city centres in The Netherlands.
The workshop was organized within the framework of the research and design studio Mobile Strategies, coordinated by Remon Rooij and Roberto Rocco of the Chair Spatial Planning and Strategy, Urbanism, TU Delft.
Students from the Masters in Spatial Planning and Strategy and the European Masters of Urbanism (EMU) collaborated with a team of the Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS) as well as Remon Rooij and Roberto Rocco, in order to discuss strategies and designs for the cases in discussion.
