On the 21st of November, from 15.00 to 17.30, we will hold a second meeting on the OTB-Urbanism Joint Research Themes at the Hugo Priemus Room at OTB. In this meeting we will focus on the theme ‘Regional Governance and Design’. Research that relates to this theme concerns the policy, politics and administration of territory and territorial impacts; how borders are drawn, how desired territorial development is perceived, designed and achieved and how patterns of co-operation and collaboration, both between different parts of government and between governmental and non-governmental actors are being shaped.

In the upcoming meeting we would like to discuss aspects of regional governance and the way these aspects are incorporated in our research. Dr. Roberto Rocco will introduce governance as a key issue. PhD researchers will give a brief insight into how their research is related to governance issues. Prof. dr. Wil Zonneveld will point at a range of ongoing (and promising) funded research projects that place notions on governance and design central.

We have invited some PhD researchers on their personal title. This since we have asked them to contribute to presentations. But our meeting is open to both, staff and students! Please join our discussion!
